Each of these CD cases are hand made from pressed linen and recycled material with an integrated 8 page lyric booklet and professionally printed black-on-silver thermo transfer CD. With a slightly larger size (15x15cm) and heft, it feels more book-like than a regular CD casing. This is a completely unique and very limited edition CD, the original casing design and production being done right here in my home studio.
In 2015, 'Scene By Scene' was recorded in our shared rehearsal space in the basement of the unoccupied Deustche Bahn building complex, and former Stasi headquarters, at Ruschestrasse 103, Berlin, which we fondly called 'The Bunker' (this album was formerly refered to as 'The Bunker Sessions'). The guitar pictured on this album is my old Martin DX1 of nearly 20 years, which can be heard on this album, and which, in some split-second blunder, I left on a bus in Dänemark and never saw again.
This edition has been remastered by Pieter De Wagter at EQuuS Mastering.

lyrics
Hey, Mr. Hangman
Wont you please spare my life?
I swear I’m a rich man
I live in Newland with my children and my wife
I was hanging round just to see
What kind of rope you’d use
If you were to hang someone else
But now your eyes are set on me
And I don’t understand
Why you’d wanna see me dead
When I was minding no one but myself
Hey, Mr. Jokeman
Throw one by me
There’s nothing you could say, man,
Could make them believe
I went down to where I first saw you run
To see if I could maybe meet
One of these guys has a better explanation
Than the one that they gave me
Oh, Madam Graceland
Lord knows that you
Have seen more than your portion
Of rage and abuse
Now you don’t wanna see’m die
'Cause you’ve grown such a strong connection to them
And, oh, Madam Graceland
They’ll love ya ‘till the end
Hey Mr. Hangman
Is it too much to call you my friend?
I’ve grown to get used
To this noose across my head
You could come to dinner with my family
Watch our new T.V.
And stay in my second cousins spare bed
But now your eyes are set on me
And I don’t understand
Why the hell you’re following me round
Still wanting me dead
I was only doing what I could
